Spondyloarthritis

The international AIDA registry for spondyloarthritis has been established with the aim of gathering data on both axial and peripheral joint manifestations occurring in patients affected by diseases covered by other AIDA registries.

It is well-documented that a proportion of patients with FMF and other monogenic diseases may exhibit axial spondyloarthritis. Additionally, cases of spondyloarthritis have also been described in other conditions such as VEXAS syndrome and undifferentiated autoinflammatory diseases. Furthermore, individuals with multifactorial autoinflammatory diseases like Behçet's disease may also experience spondyloarthritis. Finally, certain forms of uveitis and scleritis are recognized as manifestations within the spectrum of spondyloarthritis. Patients already included in various AIDA registries may be duplicated in the International AIDA registry for spondyloarthritis in order to thoroughly study their spondyloarthritis-related manifestations. In order to benefit from a control group in future studies, we ask you to also include in the registry an adequate number of spondyloarthritis cases not associated with a known autoinflammatory disease.
