AIDA Reaches 6,000 Enrolled Patients: A Shared Achievement Driven by Collaboration and Commitment
The AIDA Registries continue to expand at an outstanding pace. We have now reached an extraordinary milestone of 6,000 patients enrolled across the 11 active AIDA registries, confirming the strength, maturity, and impact of the project.
The Behçet’s Syndrome Registry remains the largest, with approximately 1,400 enrolled patients, followed by the Uveitis Registry with around 1,200 patients. Data collection is progressing at full speed across all other AIDA registries as well, reflecting a remarkable and sustained commitment throughout the network.
Importantly, the impressive volume and quality of data collected in such a short time have already translated into concrete scientific achievements, allowing for the publication of as many as 55 scientific articles in highly prestigious, internationally relevant journals.
This exceptional growth in patient enrollment and scientific output is closely linked to the continuous expansion of the AIDA Network, which currently includes 340 centers and involves more than 1,100 researchers actively engaged in data collection and research activities.
