AIDA Network - IUSG collaboration on monogenic uveitis

We are glad to announce that the AIDA Network has recently started a scientific partnership with the International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG) to collaborate on common research topics, such as monogenic uveitis.

In this context, the AIDA Network and the “Genetic and Uveitis” group of interest of IUSG developed a joint survey which will be released in the next weeks. The survey focuses on genetic uveitis, mostly caused by monogenic autoinflammatory diseases, to the aim of assessing awareness about this topic among ophthalmologists and identifying any knowledge gaps to address future research and educational activities. Also, barriers and referral patterns at the different institutions will be explored.

We look forward to start this exciting collaboration and wish the widest participation from all the colleagues of the network.
