AIDA for Patients is ready for launch!
A first pilot project within the AIDA for Patients action has just started, paving the way for the network's initiatives aimed at involving patients and their associations.
The project has been co-designed and co-implemented with the Italian patient association SIMBA Onlus (www.behcet.it) and aims to actively involve Italian patients with Behçet's syndrome in future AIDA research activities on this disease. Italian patients are now ready to enter directly information about their quality of life, fatigue, personal beliefs on drugs, socio-economic issues, difficulties they face along the care journey and further PROs into a new patient-driven database available in the Italian language. In the next few months, we are committed to working with international patient associations to extend the project beyond the Italian borders and make this unique opportunity available for all the AIDA network patients.
