Despite the remarkable improvement of knowledge about monogenic and polygenic autoinflammatory diseases (AID) over the last decades, several aspects concerning the clinical expression of these rare diseases still need to be explored, and further studies are warranted with special regard to adult-onset diseases. In this context, the AIDA (Autoinflammatory Disease Alliance) project aims to overcome the fragmentation of research efforts in this field, through the sharing of clinical data and experiences of individual reference Centers. Among the actions envisaged by the project, there is the creation of a web-based platform (www.aidanetwork.org) hosting clinical registries for the prospective collection of clinical, laboratory and therapeutic data of adult and pediatric patients affected by AID. The 6th AIDA international meeting scheduled on 1st Feb 2021 will discuss notional and practical aspects of the AIDA registries with all the investigators who have joined the network. Moreover, it will provide an overview of the AIDA project actions, with specific regard to the status of the enrollment, and an update on ongoing and future studies. Detailed information on the different registries will be provided, including how to collect and enter patients’ data in the platforms correctly. Ample time will be reserved for data entry tests with the guide of the AIDA team instructors, who will be available for any notional or practical question which may arise during the simulation. We are dedicated to ensuring maximal global reach of the meeting for all of AIDA members and partners, in a safe and accessible manner. So we encourage you to register early and look forward to meeting with you to learn, innovate and fully enjoy all the AIDA activities.
